Here is a unique Advent calendar in the shape of a striped Christmas sock, to help you count down to Christmas with joy. It’s a lovely zero-waste project that’s easy to make, even for sewing beginners.
It features two different pocket sizes, with the ones on the striped section at the bottom of the sock being slightly wider. They measure approximately: W 6 cm x H 7 cm and W 8 cm x H 6 cm. Fill them with chocolates or other treats, little notes or small gifts!
🧵 This is a beginner-level sewing project (1/5).
📄 The pattern is printable in A4 format. Seam allowances are included.✂️ Materials required: – 3 cotton fabrics: 2 different ones for the stripes and the back of the sock (70 cm for one, 30 cm for the other) and 1 for the toe of the sock – Faux fur fabric for the top of the sock – Wadding (70 cm x 50 cm)
💻 The PDF file you’ll receive contains: – A step-by-step tutorial explaining how to make the socks (materials, cutting, sewing), which is very detailed and illustrated with numerous photos – The pattern, printable in A4 format – Instructions for printing and assembling the A4 pattern
